Hostal Sol y Luna, Coroico - Bolivia - The ideal place for all love nature, silence and rural life

From Villa Fatima, a suburb of La Paz, from 8 o'clock in the morning to 5 o'clock in the afternoon there are buses almost every hour. They need about three hours to get to Coroico. The fee is 3 U$.

The road from La Paz to Coroico is extremely beautiful.

It starts in La Paz at an altitude of 3.400 meter, mounts to the Pass of 4.500 meter and descend through high rocky mountain with snow-peaks and the cloud forest to the lovely subtropical landscape of the Yungas.

Since October 2006 the buses take the new road, wich is asphalted and double way.

How you get from the plaza of Coroico to Sol y Luna?

Sol y Luna is at a distance of 2 km from the plaza. Walking the hill up you reach it in 20 minutes. Look for signs and ask the people.
