If you are coming from the Salt flats or the Titicaca Lake, from the high and dry climate, if you have visited museums, cities and mines, Coroico and Eco-lodge Sol y Luna are the perfect place to relax.
The climate, the subtropical fauna, the rivers and the silence of the nature makes you to forget the stress and give you back the energy to continue your trip.
Coroico has a marvelous climate. In the sub-tropical Yungas days are warm (around 26ºC grades) and the nights are comfortably fresh (around 16º C grades).
In winter (southern Hemisphere from June to august) the climate is dry and a little cold; during the summer (from January to April) it’s warmer and rains a lot, especially by night.
Day times are normally sunny. Sometimes during the year could be cold (because of the sur it’s a cold wind coming from the south and last for three days and usually comes with fog and rain). Because of that you should always bring good shoes and warm clothes.
Around Coroico you have plenty of option for short trips and easy walks or adventures:
You can walk up to the mountains; go down to the river with trilling bridges or to the waterfalls.
You can go with a guide or take a taxi to visite the villages, traditional coca and coffee plantations, citrics and banana.

There is a place with Tipi (a tent with hot stone and steam) a good therapy for health.
